Geneva city centre
Choosing the right vehicle makes a real difference to a transfer from Geneva Airport, whether you travel alone on business, as a family with skis or as a group of colleagues. This guide answers the questions we receive most often about our Mercedes fleet: which cars we use, how many people and bags each one takes, and what to do if you have a specific request on equipment or comfort. Every transfer is private, with a professional chauffeur and a fixed price per vehicle shown before you pay.
Which cars do you use for airport transfers?
Our fleet is made up of Mercedes vehicles in four categories:
| Vehicle | Passengers | Luggage | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mercedes E-Class | up to 3 | 3 bags | Business travellers, couples |
| Mercedes S-Class | up to 3 | 2 bags | VIP and executive trips |
| Mercedes V-Class | up to 7 | 10 bags, skis | Families, ski groups, teams |
| Mercedes Sprinter | up to 16 | Group luggage | Larger groups and events |
All transfers include flight tracking and meet & greet. You choose the vehicle in the booking form, and its fixed price appears before payment.
How many passengers fit in a Mercedes V-Class?
The Mercedes V-Class carries up to 7 passengers with up to 10 bags. It is the vehicle families and ski groups choose most, because skis, snowboards and pushchairs fit alongside suitcases. Declare skis or snowboards when booking so the space is planned. If you are 8 or more, book a Sprinter or two vehicles travelling together.
What is the difference between the E-Class and the V-Class?
The Mercedes E-Class is a comfortable sedan for up to 3 passengers and 3 bags, ideal for business travellers, couples or a small family travelling light. The Mercedes V-Class is a spacious van for up to 7 passengers and 10 bags, with room for skis, pushchairs and golf bags. Both are private with a professional chauffeur. The deciding factor is usually luggage: if your bags would not fit in the E-Class boot, choose the V-Class.
Can I book a Mercedes S-Class?
Yes. The Mercedes S-Class is our VIP option for up to 3 passengers and 2 bags. It suits executives, special occasions and guests who want a quiet, discreet ride after a flight. Select it in the booking form like any other vehicle: the fixed price is shown instantly. Because it takes fewer bags than the E-Class, check your luggage before choosing it.
Can I hire a luxury car with a driver in Geneva?
Yes. Beyond airport transfers, you can book a private car with a professional chauffeur for a door-to-door ride or by the hour, from 2 hours. For a premium experience choose the S-Class, or the E-Class for business appointments. The service runs 24/7, includes pick-ups at the private jet terminal, and companies can receive an invoice for each booking.
Can I choose a specific car model?
You choose the vehicle category when booking: E-Class, S-Class, V-Class or Sprinter. Within a category, the exact version and colour can vary. If you have a request, such as a particular colour for a wedding, mention it in the booking notes and we will tell you whether it can be met before your transfer.
Is there enough legroom in the back seats?
Choose according to your needs. The S-Class offers the most rear space and comfort for up to 3 passengers, the E-Class is a comfortable sedan for 3, and the V-Class gives each of up to 7 passengers an individual seat in a high-roofed cabin. If a passenger is very tall or needs extra room, for example after an injury, say so when booking or write to contact@airportstransfers.ch, and we will help you pick the right vehicle.
Is a Sprinter comfortable for a 4-hour drive?
The Mercedes Sprinter is designed for groups of up to 16 who want to travel together with their luggage. On a long drive, for example around 3 h to Zurich Airport or around 3 h 15 to Zermatt (Täsch), the chauffeur can plan comfort stops along the way: just mention them when booking. If your group prefers more space per person, several V-Class vans can travel together instead.
Can I get an executive van with face-to-face seating?
Our van is the Mercedes V-Class, often chosen by teams travelling between meetings. The seating layout can vary from one vehicle to another, so if face-to-face seating matters for a meeting on the move, mention it in the booking notes or contact us before booking on +41 78 346 56 77. We will confirm what we can provide.
Do the vans have tinted windows for privacy?
Every V-Class is used exclusively for your party, with no shared rides. We cannot guarantee specific equipment such as tinted rear windows on every vehicle, so if privacy glass matters to you, mention it when booking or contact us first to confirm. For discreet VIP arrivals, the S-Class is also available.
Is there Wi-Fi in the car?
We cannot promise on-board Wi-Fi in every vehicle, so mention it when booking or contact us to confirm whether it is available for your transfer. If you need to work on the way, the most reliable option is your own mobile data or a travel eSIM.
Do the cars have phone chargers?
Equipment such as phone chargers can vary between vehicles. If you need to charge a phone or laptop during the journey, mention it in the booking notes and we will confirm what is available. On long drives it is wise to bring your own cable as well.
How old are your cars?
Our fleet consists of Mercedes vehicles in the four categories described above, all fitted with winter tyres in the ski season. If the age of the vehicle or a specific model year matters for your booking, for example because of a corporate travel policy, contact us at contact@airportstransfers.ch before booking and we will answer your question for your date.
How to book
Book online up to 12 hours before pick-up: choose your vehicle, enter your flight number and any requests, and the fixed price per vehicle, not per person, is shown instantly. Pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay and receive your confirmation by e-mail. On arrival, your chauffeur meets you in the arrivals hall with a name board. For last-minute bookings, call or WhatsApp +41 78 346 56 77.
