Do you need to know how much luggage I have in advance?
Yes. Your luggage determines the vehicle we send, so please enter it when booking. Skis, snowboards and other bulky items must be declared at booking. As a guide:

How many suitcases fit in a Mercedes E-Class?
The Mercedes E-Class is designed for up to 3 passengers with 3 bags, for example three standard suitcases, plus small hand luggage. It suits business travellers, couples and small families with normal luggage. If you have more cases, very large ones, or skis and snowboards, choose the V-Class instead, which takes up to 10 bags.
How many ski bags fit in a Mercedes V-Class?
The Mercedes V-Class carries up to 7 passengers and 10 bags, with room for skis. How many ski bags fit in practice depends on how many passengers travel and how many suitcases come with them: a full van of 7 people with suitcases leaves less space than 4 people. Declare the exact number of ski and snowboard bags at booking so we can confirm the space. For a large group with lots of equipment, the Sprinter is the alternative.
What car do I need for 4 people and 4 ski bags?
For 4 passengers, the E-Class and S-Class are too small, as both take a maximum of 3 passengers. The right choice is the Mercedes V-Class: 4 people, 4 ski bags and your suitcases travel comfortably, with seats and space to spare. Enter 4 passengers and declare the 4 ski bags in the booking form, and the fixed price per vehicle is shown instantly.
Do you have a ski rack or roof box?
Skis and snowboards travel inside the vehicle. The V-Class has room for skis alongside up to 7 passengers and 10 bags, and the Sprinter suits larger groups. Declare your skis or snowboards when booking so we send a vehicle with enough space. For a lot of equipment or unusual items, mention it at booking or contact us at contact@airportstransfers.ch.
Can I keep my ski boot bag with me inside the car?
Declare your boot bags with your skis and snowboards when you book. If you would like to keep your boot bag with you in the cabin, for example because it holds valuables, add a note to the booking or tell the chauffeur when loading. Whether it fits comfortably depends on the vehicle and the number of passengers; the V-Class offers the most room. For a definite answer, contact us before travel.
Is there a limit on suitcase size?
What matters is that all your luggage fits the vehicle you choose. Declare large or unusual items such as oversized cases, skis, snowboards or golf bags at booking. If you are unsure whether a very large piece will fit, describe it in the booking notes or contact us and we will suggest the right vehicle, usually the V-Class or the Sprinter.
What happens if we have more luggage than declared?
The vehicle is chosen from the luggage you declared. If you will travel with more, tell us as soon as possible by phone or WhatsApp on +41 78 346 56 77, or at contact@airportstransfers.ch, so we can switch to a larger vehicle before the day. Extra bags that do not fit cannot be carried safely, so updating your booking early really matters.
Can we bring a pram and a travel cot?
Yes, but count them as luggage. A folded pram and a travel cot take the space of large bags, so add them to your luggage when booking and mention them in the notes. With a baby, a pram, a cot and suitcases, the V-Class is often the most comfortable choice. Child seats and boosters are available on request: give each child's age when you book.
Can you transport bikes from Geneva Airport?
Bikes can be carried if you declare them when booking, with the number of bikes and whether they are packed in bags or boxes. This lets us assign a vehicle with enough space, usually the V-Class or, for a group, the Sprinter. Any conditions or extra charge for bikes are confirmed before you travel, so mention them at booking or contact us first.
Can you carry a cat in a pet carrier?
Please ask before booking. Tell us that you are travelling with a cat in a closed carrier and give the size of the carrier, in the booking notes or by contacting us at contact@airportstransfers.ch or on WhatsApp. We will confirm whether the animal can travel and which vehicle is suitable. Do not book without mentioning it, as the chauffeur needs to know in advance.
Can you transport boxes when we move into a chalet for the season?
Our service is a private chauffeur transfer for passengers and their luggage, door to door. A V-Class carries up to 7 passengers and 10 bags, and a Sprinter offers more room. If you plan to bring boxes or bulky items for a season in a chalet, describe the volume when booking or contact us first, so we can confirm whether it fits and which vehicle to send.
Can you transport ski equipment only, without passengers?
Our transfers are built around passengers, so moving ski equipment on its own is not a standard booking.
