How much does a private transfer from Geneva Airport cost, and what exactly is included? This guide answers the price questions our customers ask most often: how the fixed price per vehicle works, what happens on public holidays and ski-season weekends, how to get a quote for a group, and whether return trips, early bookings or tips change anything. In short, you always see the full amount for your trip before you pay, and it does not change on the day.

How much is a private transfer from Geneva Airport?

The price depends on two things: your destination and the vehicle you choose. Our fleet includes the Mercedes E-Class (up to 3 passengers and 3 bags), the S-Class (3 passengers and 2 bags, for VIP comfort), the V-Class (up to 7 passengers, 10 bags and room for skis) and the Sprinter (up to 16 passengers). For each combination there is a fixed price per vehicle, shown instantly in the booking form or on each destination page before you pay.

That price is the price of your transfer. It does not run on a meter, so it does not change with traffic, snow or roadworks, and waiting caused by a late flight is included because we track your flight. Enter your pick-up address, destination and number of passengers to see the exact amount for your journey.

Is the price per car or per person?

The price is per vehicle, not per person. Whether one person or the maximum number of passengers travels in the car, the amount is the same for that vehicle and that trip. This is why private transfers are often good value for couples, families and groups: the more people share the vehicle, the lower the cost per head.

Choose the vehicle according to the number of passengers and, just as important, the amount of luggage. Three people with three suitcases fit an E-Class, but three people with skis and several large bags are more comfortable in a V-Class.

How much is a transfer from Geneva Airport to a ski resort on average?

There is no meaningful single average, because ski resorts around Geneva are at very different distances. Approximate drive times give an idea of the range:

ResortApproximate drive time from Geneva Airport
Morzine~1 h 15
Chamonix~1 h 15
Avoriaz~1 h 30
Verbier~2 h
Méribel~2 h 10
Courchevel~2 h 15
Val Thorens~2 h 30
Zermatt (via Täsch)~3 h 15

Nearby resorts cost less than distant ones, and the vehicle you choose matters too. The fixed price per vehicle for every resort is shown on its destination page and in the booking form, so you can compare options in a few seconds.

Can I get a quote for 6 people going to a ski resort?

Yes, and you do not need to wait for a reply by e-mail. Enter Geneva Airport, your chalet or hotel address, your date and 6 passengers in the booking form, and the fixed price appears instantly for the vehicles that can carry your group. For 6 people with ski equipment, the Mercedes V-Class is usually the right choice: it seats up to 7 passengers and takes 10 bags with room for skis.

Declare your skis and snowboards when booking so the space is planned. If your group has a lot of extra equipment or is larger than 7, the Sprinter carries up to 16 passengers. For anything unusual, call or message us on WhatsApp at +41 78 346 56 77 before you book.

Are there extra charges on public holidays or at Christmas?

We drive 24/7, including Christmas, New Year and public holidays. Whatever the date, the booking form shows the fixed price per vehicle for your exact trip before you pay, so you know the full amount in advance and nothing is added on the day, even if your flight lands late.

Holiday periods are among the busiest of the year, especially the Christmas and New Year weeks in the Alps. Book early online to secure the vehicle you want, or call or message us on WhatsApp for a last-minute request.

Do prices go up on ski-season weekends?

The price for your date is shown instantly in the booking form or on the destination page before you pay. Once you have booked, your price is fixed: it does not rise if Saturday traffic towards the resorts is heavy, if snow slows the mountain roads or if your flight is delayed.

Weekends in the ski season, and above all school holiday weeks, are when demand is highest. Booking well ahead does not change how the price works, but it makes sure the right vehicle is available for your group and your equipment.

Is a return trip cheaper than two one-way transfers?

We do not publish a reduced rate for return bookings. Each journey has its own fixed price per vehicle, shown in the booking form before payment, so you can see the total for both legs before you confirm.

Booking the outward and return transfers together is still practical: the return pick-up is planned in advance, you receive your confirmation instantly by e-mail and you do not need to think about it again during your stay. For questions about special conditions, write to contact@airportstransfers.ch.

Is there a discount for booking early?

We do not publish an early booking discount. The fixed price per vehicle is shown before payment and covers everyone in the car. Booking early remains useful for other reasons: it secures your vehicle for busy dates, gives you an instant e-mail confirmation and lets you plan the rest of your trip with certainty.

If you have a question about conditions for a large group or for regular trips, for example business travel, contact the team at contact@airportstransfers.ch. Companies can also receive invoices for their bookings.

How much should I tip a private driver in Switzerland?

With us, a tip is never required. You pay the fixed price per vehicle online before the trip, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through a secure Stripe checkout, and nothing is collected by the chauffeur on the day. Whether you leave something extra for your chauffeur is entirely your personal choice.

If you want to thank your chauffeur in another way, or have a question about this, you can simply contact us by phone or WhatsApp on +41 78 346 56 77.

What is included in the fixed price?

To sum up, the price you see before payment covers:

  • a private vehicle reserved only for your party, with no shared rides;
  • a professional chauffeur, door to door, 24/7;
  • flight tracking and meet & greet with a name board in the arrivals hall (Swiss sector, French sector on request);
  • waiting caused by a late flight;
  • help with luggage and space for the skis and snowboards you declared.

Child seats and boosters are available on request: mention them when booking. If you have any other special requirement, add it to the booking notes or contact the team to confirm before you travel.

How to book

Book online up to 12 hours before pick-up: enter your route, date, passengers and luggage, and the fixed price per vehicle is shown instantly before you pay. You receive an e-mail confirmation straight away, and on arrival your chauffeur meets you with a name board in the arrivals hall. For last-minute trips, call or message us on WhatsApp at +41 78 346 56 77.

Frequently asked questions

Do I pay anything to the chauffeur on the day?
No. You pay the fixed price per vehicle online when you book, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through a secure Stripe checkout. The chauffeur does not collect any payment on the day, so you can simply get in the car and go, even after a long flight.
Does the price change if my flight is delayed?
No. We track your flight and adjust the pick-up time to your actual landing. Waiting caused by a late flight is included in the fixed price per vehicle, so the amount you saw before payment stays the same even if your plane lands much later than planned.
Can my company receive an invoice?
Yes. Companies can receive invoices for their bookings. Enter your company details when you book, or write to contact@airportstransfers.ch if you need specific information on the invoice, for example for your accounting or a travel policy.
Is a child seat included in the price?
Child seats and boosters are available on request. Mention the age of each child and the type of seat you need when you book, so the right seats are installed before pick-up. If you have a question about this, contact the team before your trip to confirm.
